LAHORE (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique termed Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed’s call for train march as ‘mini march,’ adding that Rasheed has the right to play gimmicks. He asked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan to prove that cuts have been made from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s funds, Dunya News reported.
Addressing the media on the inauguration ceremony of Faiz Ahmed Faiz train for Lahore to Narowal route, Rafique said that Sheikh Rasheed has only asked for seventy six seats in Awami Express, adding that this ‘mini march’ will affect five thousand passengers.
He said that railway track is not like Grand Trunk (GT) Road, adding that Sheikh Rasheed has the right to march but he shouldn’t bother other passengers.
Also criticizing Imran Khan, railway minister said that Imran Khan’s politics depicts immaturity, claiming that Khan failed to control dengue and polio epidemics in his own province.
He further said that Imran Khan raised incentives of ministers in his province by 150%.
