PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – Two Pakistan military post at Manozangal and Mukha Tops in Bajaur Agency came under fire raid and physical attack early Wednesday morning by dozens of terrorists crossing from the Afghan side.

During the attack, two Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom while three others were seriously injured.

The incident came four days after up to 200 militants from across the border attacked a group of Pakistani posts in the same region, triggering fierce fighting that killed one soldier and 11 rebels.

According to military sources, this is the third cross-border attack from Afghan side since May 25.

Earlier on May 31, a protest was lodged with the Afghan Cd A and the matter was also taken up by Pakistani Ambassador in Kabul with the Afghan Foreign Ministry.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Pakistan s concerns about miscreants and terrorists attacking from the other side of the border have been repeatedly shared with Afghan authorities.

The ministry had stated that for its part, Pakistan would continue to exercise restraint and make efforts to maintain conducive environment for constructive engagement.
