Summary Nadeem was arrested after a police encounter that lasted over 2 hours.
ABBOTTABAD (Dunya News) – Man who allegedly slaughtered three nephews – only one of whom survived – was arrested after a police encounter on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
Police of Narra station raided Dabran area upon a tip of suspect’s hideout. The suspect opened fire after seeing the police following which, the police opened fire. The encounter lasted for some two hours and the police succeeded in capturing the suspect alive.
The suspect has confessed to the allegations in the initial investigation. The prime suspect Nadeem said that he murdered the children over a matrimonial dispute.
The accused will be handed to Murree Police.
Nadeem had reportedly slaughtered three young nephews and threw all of them into a pit. One of them survived after miraculously climbing to the surface and alerting the passers-by of the crime. The boy was rescued and successfully treated.
