ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Vice-Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mehmood Qureshi has accepted Railways Minister Saad Rafique s challenge of vote verification in four constituencies each by won by the two parties.
Addressing the National Assembly Session on Friday, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that justice was not done during the recounting process in NA-47. He said that Jehangir Tareen has already filed a petition for the verification of thumb impression.
Accepting the challenge of PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique, Shah Mehmood Qureshi has suggested taking the issue to the Supreme Court instead of fact finding committee of the Parliament.
He said that PTI chief Imran Khan did not raise the issue only on the basis of illusions as rigging was done by the ruling party in many constituencies.
Expressing his views about May 11 rally, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that PTI would exercise its right of protest in a peaceful and democratic way.
