LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least six individuals including a child were killed in lightening incidents in various cities of the country, Dunya News reported.
Lightening took lives of two persons in Jehlum and Dina. In Kahna area of Lahore, a youth died as lightening struck him.
In another incident, a woman and 9-year-old child died after lightening struck them.
Another person died due to lightening in Sambrial.
In another separate incident, lightening killed three individuals in Sadiqabad Town of Narowal.
Earlier, the downpour on Sunday afternoon in Lahore and adjacent areas turned temperature down while breaking the days-long intensity of heat.
According to reports, Lahore turned cloudy on Saturday evening that resulted in steady downpour on Sunday afternoon.
It also rained heavily in Shahdara and adjacent areas while the weather remained windy most of the times.
The temperature reduced to 30 degree Celsius following the rain which according to Met office will further reduce by the evening.
Met office also forecast that Lahore will remain clouded for next two days.
