Summary Loadshedding will double in the areas where electricity theft is on the rise.
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) decided on Saturday to double loadshedding period in areas where electricity theft is on the rise. The new formula was also approved by State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali, Dunya News reported.
FESCO’s session took place here under supervision of Abid Sher Ali in which it was decided that Faisalabad’s electricity feeders in the areas where electricity theft surpasses 30% will face the double loadshedding.
After Abid Sher Ali’s approval, FESCO officials started working on the new schedule. Federal minister said while addressing the session that only those will get electricity from now on who can pay for it.
