PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq accepted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s invitation to participate in May 11 protests against rigging in 2013 general elections, Dunya News reported on Saturday.

Sirajul Haq accepted the invitation during telephonic conversation with Imran Khan.

He assured the PTI chief that JI workers will join the protestors in Lahore, Karachi and various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

On April 25, Imran Khan announced that his party’s scheduled protest on May 11 was solely aimed at seeking justice against rigging in last year’s general elections and would not derail democracy.
