Summary British Home Secretary Theresa May lauded Pakistan's efforts to curb terrorism.
LONDON (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met British Foreign Secretary William Hague and Home Secretary Theresa May on Thursday to exchange views. PM lauded Britain’s support for promotion of trade, health and education sectors in Pakistan, Dunya News reported.
Nawaz Sharif said that government is determined for economic reform and end of energy crisis and terrorism in Pakistan.
Theresa May lauded Pakistan’s efforts to curb terrorism.
It merits mentioning here that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif discussed bilateral relations and important regional and international issues with his British counterpart David Cameron on Wednesday.
On this occasion, PM Nawaz Sharif said that Britain s support is important for stability and prosperity of the region.
He said Pakistan would not allow its soil to be used against any country.
British Prime Minister David Cameron said that Pakistan’s progress is in the best interest of the entire world. He said every possible support will be extended for elimination of terrorism from Pakistan.
The British PM said his country would enhance cooperation with Pakistan in difference fields including trade and energy.
