KARACHI (Dunya News) – The anti-polio campaign is underway in 35 union councils (UCs) of Karachi while motorcycle riding is banned till 6PM.
According to the schedule, children will be inoculated against polio virus in Kemari, Orangi Town and Baldia.
Strict security measures are taken to avoid any untoward incident. A ban on motorcycle riding is also imposed from 8AM till 6PM in the union councils.
Meanwhile, polio workers are accompanied by police. Personnel are also deployed on all entry and exit points of UCs undergoing polio drive.
