KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Assembly witnessed a ruckus on Friday over the recent power theft allegations of State Minister Abid Sher Ali.

Chaotic scenes were reported after Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) members slammed PML-N for prolonged hours of electricity loadshedding.

The Sindh Assembly session began today after two days with Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani in chair.

The Ghulam Qadir said that the loadshedding was making citizen’s lives miserable. He criticized PM Nawaz and Abid Sher Ali on which the PML-N members staged protest. Member of both parties stood up and engaged in sloganeering.

Meanwhile, the speaker tried to defuse the situation.

Irfanullah Marwat said that it was unethical to call MPAs thieves, adding that action should be taken against those involved in power theft.
