MAILSI (Dunya News/Agencies) – At least six people including three workers of Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMO) died from suffocation while cleaning a drain at Jallah Jeem on Sunday.
According to Rescue sources, three TMA workers including TMO Jallah Jeem Chief Officer, Naseer Ahmed, Tahir Mateen and Rao Muhammad Akram along with private workers Muhammad Iqbal, Shah Nawaz and Fayyaz started cleaning a drain at Jallah Jeem.
However, they become unconscious after some time and one of them died on the spot, while others were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) by the Rescue officials but they died.
After the tragic incident, locals attacked the TMO office and damaged vehicles and other property.
