ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Islamabad High Court on Thursday issued notices to Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Najam Sethi, members of ad hoc committee, ministry of inter provincial coordination and thirteen other respondents in a case related to appointment of PCB chairman, Dunya News reported.
PCB Inspection Committee member Altaf Hussain had submitted a petition challenging appointment of Sethi as the PCB chief.
Petitioner’s counsel Advocate Abdul Razaq told court that Zaka Ashraf’s removal and Najam Sethi’s appointment was illegal.
After hearing the initial arguments, Justice Noorul Haq Qureshi of the IHC issued a notice to PCB chairman Najam Sethi and others.
