LAHORE (Dunya News) – Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rasheed said on Sunday that the year 2014 will be critical for government and demanded Nawaz Sharif to take notice against ministers who target army, Dunya News reported.
Talking exclusively to Dunya News in Lahore, he said that he and Imran Khan will jointly lead protests against election rigging on May 11.
He said that the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is busy in foreign visits while negotiations are underway, adding that it appears that the government is not serious about the process.
He warned that government’s estrangement with the army can cause tragedies.
Addressing a public rally in Sheikhupura, he said that the government is advancing towards another October 12 once again.
He claimed that the current government has been assigned a four-point agenda by the US including to establish regional relations as per India’s wish, to avoid demanding rights for Kashmir and water and that to criticize the ‘greatest army of the world’ through political eunuchs and transgenders.
He said that all airports of the country and immigration there are being monitored.
He claimed that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) have struck a secret deal and that both parties are obliging each other as part of the deal.
He said that the impression given by the government that Pervez Musharraf is no longer the part of the army is wrong. He said that if army and Musharraf are separated, then Musharraf has no significance.
Sheikh Rasheed urged all political forces to unite for the rights of poor adding that if the parties remained estranged, Nawaz Sharif will succeed in his motive.
