Summary Search operation for 70 people is underway in Tirah Valley, Orakzai and Kurram Agency.

KHYBER AGENCY (Dunya News) – The banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has released 40 out of 110 abductees.

Meanwhile, search operation for other 70 people is underway in Tirah Valley, Orakzai and Kurram Agency.

Several armed men belonging to TTP stormed village Haider Kandow of Tirah Valley in Khyber Agency and abducted 110 people on Saturday midnight.

The sources told that the Taliban had asked the villagers to refrain from holding a fair in the area but as the fair started they stormed the village and kidnapped 110 people. The sources further informed that 40 people were later released while the others are still in custody of Taliban.
