LAHORE (Dunya News) – President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain said on Saturday that the government has inherited issues such as terrorism and load shedding of electricity and gas. He said that the government is progressing towards building new dams and that the load shedding will decrease in the coming months, Dunya News reported.
Addressing Lahore Chamber of Commerce’s OIC Ambassadors and Trade Conference, he said that the organization of OIC Ambassadors Conference is a welcome step.
He said that Pakistan is the most important country with regards to region’s condition adding that the Islamic countries should understand this.
He said that the government will provide every possible facility to traders from Islamic countries if they come to invest in Pakistan.
President said that the growth rate has increased from three percent to six percent, and that the investment rate would increase twelve percent to twenty percent.
He said that the direction of Agriculture and Industrial sector is being straightened.
Talking about bilateral cooperation with neighbouring China, he said that Pakistan’s economic stability is imprinted in Pakistan-China corridor.
He also said that the effects of Pak-China cooperation will be extended to other countries in the region.
He said that the country is lucky that they’ve got such a Prime Minister who is active for economic stability.
President said that Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif is also working with the same spirit.
He said that our nation is talented and skillful and that everyone should focus on women’s education.
