AHORE (Web Desk) - An earthquake of magnitude 3.4 struck various cities of Punjab including Lahore, Faisalabad, Chiniot, Gujranwala, Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura, Kasur, and their surrounding area on Thursday evening.
According to Met Office, the magnitude of the quake was 3.4 on the Richter scale, whereas its epicenter was located in the vicinity of Hafizabad. It was 66 kilometers deep.
As per latest reports earth also quaked under the feet of residents of North Waziristan.
Experts say, though, a quake of this magnitude is very much noticeable, but not strong enough to pose a significant threat, evident from the fact that no quake-related casualties/damages have yet been reported from anywhere.
