(Web Desk) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has decided to give cash compensation to the famine-hit people of Tharparkar.
Cash compensation will be given to seventy eight thousand victims.
The Prime Minister said poverty‚ disease and lack of ration added to the woes of Thar victims.
He also directed that beneficiaries of Income support program should be given three times higher compensation in the next six months.
Nawaz Sharif said transparency will be ensured in disbursement of cash compensation to Thar victims.
