Summary At least 25 suspects were arrested during targeted operation in different areas of the city.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - At least three persons were killed and two others were injured in exchange of firing between two rival groups in Lyari on Sunday. The victims were identified as Nasir, Imtiaz and Salar.
In another incident, a citizen namely Zar Ali was killed shot dead in Orangi Town when he was on his way to home. Two children were also injured in the firing.
The citizens caught the accused, a foreign national, and handed over to the police. The residents of the area held protest and blocked the road.
Meanwhile, Rangers arrested at least 25 accused including activists of banned outfits and during targeted operation in different areas including Rex Colony, Bhitaiabad, Quaidabad and Qalandria Chowk. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the accused.
