PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Former parliamentary leader of Awami National Party (ANP) Begum Nasim Wali formally announced the formation of new political party here on Wednesday claiming that this isn’t a new party but a party to ‘save the philosophy of Bacha Khan and Wali Khan’.
Begum Wali was briefing the media at the residence of former MPA Atiqur Rehman.
On this occasion, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) leader Farid Toofan also announced to join the newly formed party. Begum Nasim is elected as patron-in-chief and Farid Toofan as central general secretary of the party.
The remaining cabinet will be announced soon, the leaders said.
Addressing the party members, Farid Toofan said that he doesn’t have personal vendetta against Asfandyar Wali and that the new party wants to revive the philosophy of Bacha Khan and Wali Khan.
He said that Bacha Khan Markaz is the property of their party demanding the ‘occupants’ to vacate the center. “Otherwise they will be made to evacuate the center” he warned.
