Summary Three alleged terrorists were killed in retaliatory firing of Rangers in Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least 46 accused were arrested during targeted operation in Baldia Ittehad Town area of Karachi while three alleged terrorists were killed in retaliatory firing of Rangers on Sunday.
Rangers conducted targeted operation in Muhammad Khan colony of Baldia Ittehad Town on a tip-off regarding the presence of terrorists. Around 300 Rangers personnel participated in the operation that lasted for more than four hours.
All the entry/exit points were sealed before the operation. As soon as the rangers started conducting house-to house search operation, three to four terrorists hurled grenade and resorted to firing. According to Rangers spokesperson, three terrorists were killed while a Rangers personnel was injured during the retaliatory firing. Grenades and SMG rifle were also seized from the dead terrorists. The bodies were shifted to civil hospital.
Later, the Rangers arrested 46 accused and confiscated huge caches of arms from the same area of Karachi.
