Summary Sindh Assembly will also be briefed about the success of the ongoing targeted operation, he said.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah presided law and order related session in which it was resolved that the targeted operation in Karachi will continue until the arrest of last suspect and that the operation is only against criminals and terrorist suspects.
Other than the Chief Minister, the session was attended by Director General (DG) Rangers Major General Rizwan Akhtar, Additional Inspector General (IG) Shahid Hayat, intelligence agencies officials and various police personnel.
Police presented the report about the ongoing targeted operation in Karachi and the prevailing law and order situation. The participants decided that the targeted operation against criminal suspects will continue. The session also decided that the assistance of federal government will be sought on the matter of illegal sim cards.
For speedy development on legal cases, the participants of the session also formed a committee comprising Prosecutor General and Advocate General Sindh.
Chief Minister also directed to equip the police force with modern weapons and armors. He added that it was made clear the first day that the targeted operation is not against any particular political party but only against criminal and terrorist suspects. He further said that the targeted operation was initiated with the mutual consultation with all political parties and will continue till the apprehension of last suspect.
Qaim Ali Shah said that the Sindh Assembly will also be briefed about the achievements and developments of the ongoing targeted operation.
