Summary Nisar said Pakistan was in state of war while the enemies were playing hide and seek.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that police will have to show exceptional performance to curb terrorism.

Addressing the passing-out parade of police officers at National Police Academy in Islamabad on Saturday, Nisar said Pakistan was in a state of war, adding that there was a huge responsibility on law enforcement agencies to restore peace in the country.

Interior Minister further said the security forces should fully discharge their responsibilities for peace and stability in the country.

Nisar said Pakistan was passing through very difficult circumstances and situation.

It is a very difficult war and the police will have to perform beyond their normal responsibilities of policing for revival of serenity in the country, he added.

PML-N leader said thousands of people including personnel of security forces have lost their lives in the war against terrorism.
