Ghazi murder case: Musharraf granted exemption from appearance

Summary Counsel for retired general told the court that Musharraf was undergoing treatment at hospital.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The court has granted former president Pervez Musharraf exemption from appearing before bench in Ghazi Abdur Rasheed murder case while ordered his counsel to submit medical report during next hearing.

Additional session judge heard the case pertaining to the murder of Lal Masjid cleric Ghazi Abdur Rasheed on Saturday.

During the course of proceedings, counsel for retired general told that Musharraf could not appear before the court since he was undergoing treatment at AFIC hospital.

After hearing the arguments, the court ordered to present the medical certificate during next proceeding and adjourned the hearing till February 01.
