ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said PM Nawaz doesn’t have time to hold meeting with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister, saying that Pervez Khattak had been trying to get an appointment for past two months.
Referring to the rumours about peace talks, Imran Khan questioned as to how the dialogue was failed before even starting? The Taliban had been vowing that they will hold talks if drone strikes were halted, he added.
PTI chief said PM Nawaz should call all parties conference (APC) to discuss the matter of Taliban. He also asked PM Nawaz as to why the dialogue with Taliban couldn’t be so far initiated, adding that all political parties okayed government to hold talks.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chairman also accused the PML-N-led government of fixing the match over Taliban.
Commenting on the resignation of ex-NADRA chief, Imran said Tariq Malik resigned under government’s pressure. He also announced to move court against the appointment of new NADRA chief, demanding the incumbent Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo motu notice over the matter.
Reacting to today’s report of WHO over polio virus in Peshawar, Imran confirmed that a massive campaign was due to start against the virus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
PTI chief also reiterated to hold fair and transparent elections in the country.
