KASHMORE (Dunya News) - At least eight persons including women and children jumped into River Indus during a police raid to avoid arrest.
A dead body was recovered and five persons including two women were rescued while search for two persons was underway.
According details, Kashmore and Thul Police launched a joint crackdown in a suburban village of Kashmore to arrest proclaimed offenders who were involved in robberies at Indus Highway.
According to police sources, three women and four children were among those who jumped into the river while dead body of a ten-year-old child was recovered from the river.

The sources added that police claimed that a proclaimed offender and his two accomplices had killed Thul police constable a month ago and the raid was carried out to arrest them.
