ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has cleared its chairman Qamaruz Zaman Chaudhry in the initial inquiry of the NICL scandal case while it has announced that it will investigate former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.
According to sources, the Executive Board of NAB met under the chair of acting chairman Admiral Saeed Ahmed. During the meeting, NAB cleared chairman Qamaruz Zaman Chaudhry in the initial inquiry of the NICL scandal case.
NAB has also decided to launch a probe against the then Law Minister Babar Awan in the Nandipur Power Project case.
The board was informed that Babar Awan kept on delaying due to not receiving commission and machinery of the Nandipur Power Project worth billions was ruined because timely legal advice was not given.
