QUETTA (Dunya News) - At least one person was killed and several others including eight children were injured in a blast in Pashtunabad area here on Thursday.
According to police, the blast occurred in an ice-cream shop at Meetha Chowk. Fear gripped the area after the explosion.
Police, officials of other law enforcement agencies and Bomb Disposal Squad rushed to the scene while rescue teams shifted the injured to Civil Hospital.
The blast also caused damage to several vehicles, nearby buildings and shops. According to hospital sources one person was in critical condition.
Police cordoned off the area and started investigation into the incident.
