ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that Pakistan suffered direct losses of 100 billion US dollars in war on terror.
Addressing Sustainable Development Conference here on Thursday, he said that a number of measures have been taken to fix the economy and the trust of international community on Pakistan is beginning to take root.
The Finance Minister said country’s economic growth remained at five during first three months of current fiscal year and hopefully it would improve in future.
He said that even while austerity measures are being taken to bring down the deficit‚ the government has increased allocations for social safety nets to protect the poor.
