LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has said that local government elections in Punjab cannot be held in a transparent way.
He was addressing a ceremony in Lahore on Monday.
PTI chief said biometric system was being introduced for local bodies (LB) elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Referring to the PML-N-led government, Imran Khan said those who rig in elections cannot end corruption
He also said democracy cannot flourish without free and fair elections
Earlier on Sunday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chief Imran Khan announced that his party will hold a protest rally against inflation on December 22.
The PTI chief made an announcement during addressing media in Lahore.
Imran Khan urged to normalize ties with India, adding that peace between the two countries was impossible without resolving Kashmir issue.
He asserted that the issue should be resolved through dialogue instead of force.
Imran Khan said he suggested India during a leadership seminar that both countries should install nuclear technology on border and produce electricity that will help India and Pakistan to improve their economy.
Earlier, Imran Khan held a rally in Peshawar that decided to choke Nato supplies through the province in protest against drone strikes in Pakistan.
