KARACHI (Web Desk) - The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has challenged the delimitation of Karachi constituencies in the Sindh High Court on Wednesday.
MQM leaders Farooq Sattar and Farogh Nasim filed the suit in the cour Karachi. .
Talking to media outside the court, Farooq Sattar said that his party objected to the delimitation because legal procedures were not followed.
“Some constituencies are given more representation as compared to the others and the delimitations were wrongly carried out for political gains,” claimed Sattar.
He suggested that the union councils should comprise of equal population distribution and added that the Union Council was given the status of a Union Committee.
