Summary Fazlur Rehman slams Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) over governance crisis in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
SUKKUR (Dunya News) – Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Maulana Fazlur Rehman said Tahafuz-e-Pakistan ordinance (Pakistan solidarity ordinance) negates human rights, adding that his party had already rejected the ordinance.
Addressing the media at Sukkur airport, Fazlur Rehman said that presence of American troops in Afghanistan was a serious concern for the entire region, adding that all countries should work on a mutual course of action to restore peace in the region.
Responding to a question over drone attacks, Maulana Fazl said the nation needs to unite over this sensitive issue.
Referring to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), Fazl said Imran Khan’s government had completely failed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said our priority should be good terms with our neighbouring countries, adding that PM Nawaz Sharif’s recent visit to Afghanistan was a commendable effort in this regard.
