ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - President Mamnoon Hussain has reaffirmed the government s commitment towards socio-economic development of Balochistan and redressal of the grievances of the people of the province.
Talking to Balochistan Chief Minister‚ Dr Abdul Maalik in here on Saturday‚ he said government accords priority to remove the sense of deprivation of the people of Balochistan.
During the meeting they discussed the overall situation in the province‚ particularly the efforts being made for the relief and rehabilitation of the Awaran quake affectees.
The president handed over a cheque of 50 million rupees as a contribution for the relief of the people affected by earthquake in Awaran district.
