Summary Rangers and police arrested three target killers during operation in different areas.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Rangers and police arrested more than 20 suspected persons including three target killers during targeted operation in different areas of the city.

CID Police arrested Lashkar-e-Jhangvi’s terrorist Ameen during a raid in Orangi Town. Three rocket launchers and 20 kilogram of explosive material was also recovered from the possession of the accused who was involved in the killing of 12 policemen and more than 30 other citizens.

According to police, all three target killers were involved in more than 100 killings mostly in Gulistan-e-Johar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Korangi while weapons were also recovered from them. The Sindh government announced Rs 100,000 prize for the officials on arresting the accused.

Rangers and police raided different areas including Landhi, Shah Faisal Colony, Pakhtunabad, Nazimabad, New Karachi, Pak Colony and Lyari.

Meanwhile, violence once again erupted in Karachi and incidents of torture and killings continued on Tuesday.

A mutilated dead body was found from Ahmad Shah Bukhari Road in Lyari. According to police, the victim was murdered after being kidnapped.

A man was shot dead in Afghan Basti at Super Highway. The residents of the area took the dead body at Super Highway and protested against the killing.

Moreover, a man was gunned down in Korangi and a security guard Amir was killed in Shanti Nagar area.
