Summary An elderly couple was murdered in a robbery bid in Muslim Town area on Monday.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – According to details, 70-year-old Riaz and his wife were killed in their house in Muslim Town area of Lahore on Monday.
Police sources informed that Muhammad Riaz was killed with a sharp-edged weapon while his wife was strangulated to death.
Residents of the area nabbed a man, named Ghulam Dastagir, who was fleeing from the house and handed him over to police.
Meanwhile, SP CIA, Umar Virk has termed the incident as a robbery attempt. Further investigation is underway.
