ISLAMABAD (Online) - The spokesman of Pakistan Ex-Servicemen Association (PESA) Masud ul Hassan, Wednesday, termed Amir Jamat-e-Islami Syed Munawar Hassan’s statement regarding martyrs of army as conspiracy to damage Pakistan.
Whole nation has reposed the confidence in the defence forces after the controversial remarks which is encouraging, he added.
Talking to Dr. Murtaza Mughal, President of the Pakistan Economy Watch, Brig Masud ul Hassan said that the move seems part of an international conspirqacy aimed at weakening an organised institution.
He said that military is not battling Afghan Taliban but the Pakistani Taliban which enjoys support of enemy countries.
The former military stretigist said that ISPR has not interfered in the politics, rather it has discharged its duty to keep morale and dignity of the army.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Murtaza Mughal said that safeguarding country is not a crime. He said that we are proud of the services and sacrificed of armed forces which have kept the country intact.
He lauded the visit of PM to GHQ as a timely action to boost the morale of army. He said that supreme sacrifices of the army cannot be ignored under any circumstances.
