LAHORE (Online) - Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Secretary General, Sardar Latif Khan Khosa, has lamented the two leaders of the two religious political parties for their poisonous views on as who is shaheed and who is not Shaheed.
He said in a statement issued on Tuesday that this controversy has created division between the political parties and religious- political parties which was not good for democracy and also detrimental to fostering national integration so badly needed at this juncture of country’s history.
He said that Patron-in–Chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had proclaimed loud and clear that the Party was with the army on this issue because it had rendered countless services in defending the country.

He expressed his abhorrence over the sense of proportion of the two leaders who believed that army soldiers fighting against terrorists were not shaheed and even if dog was killed by American drone would Shaheed.
No one expects such derogatory definition of shaheed, he observed.

He asserted that the reaction of the whole nation over the most irresponsible statements of Jamat-i- Islami and JUI (F) leaders was indicative of the fact that they were with the armed forces in the war on terror and wide spread rejection of them tantamount to their condemnation and contempt they hold these leaders of the two parties.
