Summary Sindh government has decided to move SC for extending date of local bodies polls.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh government has decided file an application in the Supreme Court (SC) for extending date of local bodies polls in the province.
The sources said that the Sindh government is of the view that the delimitation process in the province could not be completed due to Muharram-ul Haram holidays and the provincial government is unable to hold local bodies polls on November 27.
The Sindh government would pray for extending date in the polls till December 7. The sources said that the provincial government will also take other political parties into confidence in this regard.
