ISLAMABAD (Online) - Opposition Leader in the Senate, Aitzaz Ahsan Tuesday criticized the government for its double-standard behaviour towards US.
Talking to media persons outside Parliament building, PPP leader said the government, firstly, holding America’s hand but on same time, crying over death of terrorist’s chief.
He said some elements in government declaring slain Hakimullah Mehsud as “Martyr” and potrating him as a hero of the nation.
Aitzaz said all opposition parties would hold a special meeting outside of Senate chamber as federal interior minister has made the House hostage.
He said drone issue would also be discussed in special meeting in front of cameras and media persons.
The lawmaker said Nisar Ali Khan did not retract his reply to a question about the number of deaths in terror-related incidents which the opposition believed was based on incorrect information.
Numbers and statistics given by interior minster go in favour of US, he added.
Aitzaz said the opposition would not let the government move away from its responsibilities.
