Summary Opposition leader in the NA Khursheed Shah has contacted leaders of other opposition parties.
ISLAMABAD (Online) – The federal government is likely to be pressurised in four dimensions over drone attacks’ issue as opposition parties are now seeking to take joint resolution against the US spy plane strikes.
Opposition leader in the National Assembly, Khursheed Shah, has contacted top leadership of other opposition parties including the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Muttahida Qaumi Movement
Khursheed Shah urged on submitting joint resolution against US drone attacks in the National Assembly while contacting with PTI’s Shah Mehmood Qureshi and MQM’s Farooq Sattar on Monday.
Moreover, the opposition leader called session in parliament house Islamabad in order to finalise the contents of resolution.
Significant political activities and developments were commenced in almost each circle of the Pakistan after killing of banned outfit Tehreekk-e-Taliban Pakistan chief Hakimullah Mehsud in US drone strike.
Earlier on Monday, anti-drone resolutions were tabled in Punjab, Sindh and Khyber-Pakhtunnkhaw assemblies.
Pakistan government insisted on its stance that the US drone attacks deteriorated dialogue process with the militants outfits.
On the other hand, US government rejected accepting the Pakistani stance and back the drone strikes where ever it is needed to vanish militancy.
Meanwhile, the banned TTP alleged the equal involvement of Pakistani government in last drone attack which killed their chief in North Waziristan Agency.
