Summary Five more people lost their lives across city on Monday amid ongoing targeted operation.
KARACHI ((Dunya News) - A man identified as Dr Naseem was killed when unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle fired at him.
According to media reports Dr Naseem was travelling to his clinic when the unknown gunmen began firing, killing him on the spot.
Police said the incident is probably an instance of target killing, adding that they cannot be sure at this stage of the investigation.
Chhipa ambulances transported the doctor’s body to Jinnah Hospital shortly after the incident.
This is the second instance of alleged target killing today. Earlier in the day, Dr Sher Ali was reportedly targeted in Karachi’s Manghopir.
Five other people lost their lives across the city on Monday as law enforcement agencies continued with their targeted actions.
The fresh incident took place near Tariq Road where unidentified gunmen shot dead a person.
Earlier, one person was killed in Orangi Town, Dabba Morr, another in Manghopir area, third person was found brutally murdered and dumped in Mawach Goth, and dead body of a child, drowned two days back, was recovered Monday from a nullah near Steel Town.
