ISLAMABAD (Online) - Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan would take the Parliamentary leaders on board about the peace talks with Taliban in the wake of death of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Chief Commander Hakimullah Mehsud in drone attack.
Sources said Sunday that Ch Nisar would meet Parliamentary leaders in the Parliament before 6th session of National Assembly to be held Monday to discuss the fate of All Parties Conference (APC) mandated dialogue with the Taliban after the death of Hakimullah Mehsud.
Sources said another APC could be held in post-Hakimullah senario.
Moreover, sources said the Federal Interior Minister would meet with Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah, PTI’s Shah Mehmood Qureshi, JUI-F’s Maulana Fazalur Rehman, QWP’s Aftab Khan Sherpao, PML-Q’s Chaudhry Shujat Hussain, National Party’s Mir Hasil Bazenjo, Tariqullah Khan, Ijazul Haq, Sheikh Rasheed and MQM’s Dr. Farooq Sattar.
Meanwhile, an urgent meeting of federal cabinet is called to discuss situation in wake of TTP chief death and announcement of revenge by the terror group.
Sources told ONLINE Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is to chair urgent security cabinet meeting on November 6 to consider a response to the drone strike killing of Taliban leader Hakimullah Mehsud.
Pakistan has accused the US of violating its sovereignty and sabotaging peace talks with Taliban.
The government, meanwhile, is expected to continue talks with Mehsud s successor.
