KARACHI (Online): Rangers conducted targeted operation in several areas of the metropolis and arrested at least 59 suspects during the action, officials said Sunday.
According to the officials, the Rangers personnel, moving on a tip-off regarding the presence of some suspected people in District Garbi, launched the operation in the area amidst security cordon.
The officials arrested seven accused while several flats were thoroughly searched. Meantime, an office of a political party was also searched.
In district South, the police nabbed 28 suspects including proclaimed offenders. Huge cache of arms was also seized from the arrested.
Meanwhile, Rangers also conducted operations in Landhi, Lyari, PIB colony, Gulshan-e-Iqbal and arrested 35 suspects.
