Summary The two leaders exchanged views on starting formal peace talks with the Taliban.

RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) - JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif today (Monday) and discussed current political situation in the country with particular reference to dialogue process with Taliban.

According to sources, the meeting took place at Noor Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi ahead of Prime Minister’s departure for London.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Information Minister Pervez Rashid also attended the meeting.

During meeting, PM Nawaz and Interior Minister took Maulana Fazlur Rehman into confidence regarding progress made in the dialogue process.

JUI-F chief lauded appreciated premier’s stance on the U.S. drone attacks.

The leaders also discussed matter pertaining to inclusion of JUI-F in the Federal Cabinet.
