Summary Rangers official have refused to admit the charges leveled against it by MQM workers.
KARACHI (Dunya News) MQM condemned the death of its party worker Dilshad Ahmed by Rangers in Karachi operation.
While addressing a press conference, MQM leader Hyder Abbas Rizvi said that Dilshad Khan was arrested on 23th October’s night and after two days his brother received a telephone call from law enforcement agency that directed him to pick his brother.
Furthering his statement, Rizvi said that the doctor stated in his medical statement that the patient had torture injuries on his body. It is also being claimed that the victim Dilshad Khan was unconscious when he was brought to hospital.
According to the spokesperson, Dilshad Shah was a patient of Epilepsy and heart disease.
Rizvi expressed that MQM workers are being targeted under the guise of operation against terrorism, adding this is absolutely illegal and they have right to pick the issue in the court.
He also suggested a special committee for investigation into the matter must be formed, so that atrocities against party workers may be neutrally exposed.
On the other hand, Rangers’ spokesperson, Dilshad Ahmed was released in good condition after investigation he was handed over to his brother.
