KARACHI (Dunya News) Security forces have arrested more than 160 accused demanded to the police for allegedly being involved in different crimes of target killings, robbery and extortion.
Rangers with the cooperation of police conducted raids in different localities including Baldia Town, North Nazimabad, Gulshin Zia, Malir and Saud Abad and arrested 29 people including activists of different political parties and recovered heavy arms and ammunition out of their possession.
In the same way, security forces launched a crackdown on criminals’ dens in the district Garbi and arrested 61 accused who were in possession of sophisticated weapons and stolen items out of their possession.
Likewise, South Zone police arrested 19 accused while East police held 49 accused during search operation. Forces also recovered heaving quantity of ammunition and narcotics out of their custody.
Ferozabad police arrested two accused and captured arms and ammunition from them.
On the other hand, two accused named Baz Khan and Younas during an encounter near Korangi Sharafi Goth.
An ASI Babar Hashmi also sustained fire injuries during encounter with accused.
