Summary Heavy arms and drugs were seized from several suspects.
KARACHI (Dunya News) –Two people have been killed in shooting incidents in different areas of the metropolis today (Monday).
One person identified as Majeed Jan lost his life in a shooting incident near Saifullah Hotel in Nazimabad.
Police constable Nadeem Hussain was gunned down in Pehalwan Goth area.
On the other hand, Rangers arrested three suspects from Altaf Town area of Orangi.
Another seven suspects were held in Rabia City area of Gulistan-e-Johar.
According to sources, the arrested suspects belong to a political party.
Rangers spokesman said that midnight raids were conducted in Korangi, Akbar Road, Mira Naka, Baloch Goth, North Nazimabad, Gulistan-e-Johar, Golimar, Defence, Steel Town, Gulbahar, Saudabad, Shah Faisal, Bagh Rizwan and Chenesar Goth areas.
At least nine suspected criminals were arrested during the targeted action, he added.
East and West Zone police also arrested more than 30 suspected criminals during last 24 hours.
