PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah‚ Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah and Senator Raza Rabbani visited Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar and inquired about the health of the injured people of twin suicide blasts at the Peshawar church.
Syed Khurshid Shah said that terrorist attacks were meant to sabotage the proposed talks with Taliban for peace.
He said that collective efforts were required to eliminate terrorism from the country and governement must follow the killers of innocent people, adding APC had given the incumbent govt a mandate to take steps against the terrorists.
Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah called for national unity to counter terrorism and extremist.
At least 81 people were killed and more than 130 injured in twin blasts at a church in Peshawar Sunday. Political parties, civil society and people from all walks of life have condemned the blasts.
The Christian community staged protests across the country Sunday and Monday and demanded justice and protection for the minorities in the country.
