Summary At least 39 suspects were arrested in targeted operations in different parts of Karachi on Saturday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – According to details, at least 24 suspects were arrested from Bewa Colony in Site area during a targeted operation conducted by police.
Two extortionists were among the arrested persons. Police have also recovered motorcycles and arms during the operation.
A fake police official was also arrested during a raid in Site area. Police uniform and fake ID card was recovered from him.
At least six suspects were arrested during a search operation in Mubeena Town area. Police have also rescued an abducted girl from Sharafi Goth area and arrested three kidnapers.
Two suspects were arrested from Shahfaisal Colony during targeted operation conducted by Rangers.
Police raided a flat in Clifton Block-4 and arrested a man named Ghulam Rasool. The arrested person was wanted by police in several cases.
Police have also arrested two extortionists during a raid in Baghdadi area of Lyari. According to police sources, both of them were members of gang war.
Meanwhile, some unidentified persons shot dead a man near Safari Park at University Road. The identity of the deceased is not yet known.
