MUZAFFARABAD: At least six people after a passenger jeep fell into the Neelum River on Saturday near Phalwai. The passenger jeep was going to Tao Butt from Keil are of Neelum Valley.
The residents of the area recovered two dead bodies from the river while rescue operation was underway to search others.
Meanwhile, eight wounded were shifted to Keil Hospital for medical treatment two of whom were reportedly in critical condition.
According to residents of the area, the accident occurred due to dilapidated condition of the road.
Acting AJK PM Chaudhry Yaseen has expressed grief over the incident and directed the administration to treat the wounded free of cost. He also announced 150, 000 for the families of each of the deceased.
