Summary Two unknown assailants on motorcycle opened fire at Zafar Baloch and killed him.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Aman Committee leader Zafar Baloch was Wednesday night killed at Bazenjo Chowk in Layari.
Another man, stated to be his guard Muhammad Ali, was also killed in the incident.
According to police sources, Zafar Baloch was going towards his house when he was targeted by gunmen.
Zafar Baloch received serious injuries and expired while he was being shifted to hospital. Ranger and police cordoned off the area after the incident.
The dead body of Zafar Baloch was later shifted to hospital. Shops and businesses were closed after the incident and tension gripped the area.
Angry people came out on the roads to express their anger and grief over the killing and firing started in the area after the incident.
